ESCAPE PRISM #2                  October 24th 2020

Our October event in collaboration with Escape Prism kicks off with a short film, "Why Haven't They Fixed the Cameras Yet?", by local filmmaker Travis White and will be followed by a newly produced feature-length titled MIRANDA VEIL a film produced  by  Levin Garbisch and directed by Matt Sander.

This feature is an engaging psychological thriller that flips the script on the role of a traditional female victim and takes the viewer on a ride through dream-like interactions with premonitions or visitors. Think Shawn of the Dead meets Labyrinth. ________________________________________

"Syko Friend is the ongoing solo vision of Los Angeles based musician and writer, Sophie Weil. She started Syko Friend in 2012 while living in Minneapolis, recording simply on a Tascam 244 Porta-Studio. The project has since developed into a roiling, unmistakable electric folk music— thunderstruck, light-swallowing guitar churning under whispered or howled poetry."
